On September 17, the General Office of the State Council officially issued the "Opinions on Further Strengthening the Full Chain Safety Supervision of Fireworks and Pyrotechnics," deploying measures to prevent and mitigate major safety risks, effectively curb accidents, and genuinely safeguard the lives, property, and social stability of the people.
The Opinions emphasize that guidance must be based on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 20th Party Congress and its subsequent plenary sessions, adhering to the principle of people first and life first, coordinating development and safety, focusing on prominent issues, and solidifying the primary responsibilities of enterprises, departmental supervision, and local management to enhance the inherent safety level of the fireworks and pyrotechnics industry.
